Even though the cash registers were initially closed, the products were in such high demand during the events that the stores had to open the cash registers. People fell in love with the products. As part of the #EyeGiveBack campaign, when people purchased a vision insurance plan as a gift through December 31, 2015, VSP donated an eye exam and a pair of glasses to a child in need, up to a total retail value of over $100,000.
